Pregnancy is such a sacred journey. Whether you are currently pregnant, interested in becoming pregnant, or recovering from pregnancy, I am here for you!

To the left you'll find the PDF I created with book recommendations, apps, videos to watch, what kind of practitioners to work with and more! 

Please know that wherever you are in your journey- it's all good. It can be beautiful, but it can also be really f-ing hard!! 

My first trimester was really dark... really dreadful... and really terrible. Please know, if you feel anything like this, it's ok, and I'm here for you. Reach out anytime just to talk.

That being said, I did find a few tricks to help with my Nausea so here are a few:
  • Always have something in your stomach
  • dry crackers (Stoned wheat thins): with you, by your bed, at all times! Have a nibble before you even move
  • frozen grapes really helped me
  • juice in your water or fizzy water
  • Vitamin B6
  • Everyone recommends ginger: I personally didn't have much luck with that
  • Milkshakes!! (when nothing else worked, this was what I consumed)
  • Snacks, snacks and more snacks. I literally went EVERYWHERE with snacks
  • Potatoes
  • Soups or broth
*If something really worked for you, please share!!

​In terms of yoga and movement there are a few tips to know:
  • 1st trimester:
    • ​focus on rest
    • try restorative yoga or yoga nidra
    • really... don't worry about doing much, just chill
  • 2nd trimester:
    • here you can get back to what you were doing before
    • listen to your body
    • a regular yoga practice (avoiding backbends)
    • Prenatal yoga is superb!
    • walk
  • 3rd trimester
    • Prenatal Yoga
    • walk
    • take it easy
    • strengthen your glutes
    • avoid laying on your back
    • avoid any forward ab movement
*Avoid Yin yoga throughout your pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Relaxin makes your joints super susceptible to over-stretching which can nearly never be reversed. 

I highly recommend preparing for the Postpartum phase - the fourth trimester - as early as halfway through your pregnancy. This will set you up for a healthy transition into parenthood, preparing the support you will need and understanding the physical changes that keep happening. 

I invite you to plan a Mother's Blessing (as opposed to a baby shower) to start the work of the postpartum journey and mothering the mother. <3
