This is a go-to recipe of mine. It's a family favourite and has been passed down through the generations. I've made my tweaks and additions though ;) Ingredients: ½ cup shortening (coconut oil; peanut butter; organic butter)
1 cup sugar (or combination of sugar and honey) 2 eggs 2 cups flour (gf) 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp salt 3 ish bananas mashed ½ tsp lemon juice ¼ cup nuts (optional) ¼ cup chocolate chips or carob chips (optional) Preheat oven to 350*
Enjoy warm perhaps with some peanut butter. Mmmm ;) |
